Caught the Enfield bug in England about 25 years ago. I swapped an old radio control set for a frame, wheels, box of assorted bits that was an original Enfield. Around two years later my 250 Clipper was on the road and a very nice ride. Sadly, it was sold only 2 years later during the sorting out of my divorce, indidentally, not due to the bike. After visiting Egli in 2001 I was again interested but got sent to Malaysia for 5 years with only a Bullet postcard to look at. Returned to Switzerland in August 07, picked up my new Bullet 500 at Koblenz 6 weeks after ordering from Zweirad-Diewald. Only a few more days and I hope Schafisheim will give me my plates. Petty to start at the beginning of Winter, but had to beat the change of regs. Mine is right hand change 4 speed with drum brakes and kick start. As retro as you can get. Looking forward to meeeting up at some events 2007/2008.
